The Bettermylk Co. started in the UK in 2015 as a dairy-free milkshake brand while Maggi was still an undergrad in university. After moving to the U.S., she continued operations, but like many small businesses, we faced challenges and ultimately had to pause due to the pandemic in 2020.
Now, the Bettermylk team is back with a bigger vision. Our mission is to redefine indulgence—creating a guilt-free, high-protein ice cream line that eliminates the calories, intolerance, and environmental impact of traditional dairy. But we’re not stopping there. We’re celebrating the rich, diverse flavors of the African continent, bringing unique ingredients to the world while giving back to the communities that inspire our creations.
